Keystone Pointe Achieves Five-Star Rating

Keystone Pointe is proud to announce we have achieved the honor of again being recognized as a 5-Star Rated Facility by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). In order to become a 5-star facility we have to have positive resident outcomes and be in compliance with multiple areas in our facility.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services developed the star rating system to provide consumers with an easy way to search for nursing homes that provide the quality of care they desire. The survey rating takes the most recent three years of surveys into account. The ratings are based on health outcomes, staffing levels, annual health inspections, and overall quality. Facilities are ranked from a 1 to 5 Star Overall Rating.



Chris Hope, Administrator, had nothing but praise for the team, sharing, “I am extremely proud of our staff. We are lucky to have so many dedicated staff members who have worked at Keystone for five, ten, or more years. Many of those staff view the residents like they are family.” Marybeth Fanning, DON, added, “There are so many staff who take the extra time to give added attention or assistance to our residents. We are so lucky to have nurses who have worked here for years because they really know and care about the residents. Our skilled nursing facility also takes pride in our unique programs such as a pet visitation program where many staff bring their dogs to work. With our proximity to Keystone schools, we also have regular intergenerational activities occurring as students visit and interact with our residents.
